Forum Avatars

I have just noticed that forum avatars are no longer being displayed although an image is loaded when a page is opened/refreshed.

Is this a permanent change? An announcement along the lines of that used for their introduction might be useful.

Thanks for pointing out the problem with the Avatars. As you can see, we have now fixed it.

It doesn't work so well for me. I can use the predefined gallery of images and they work a-ok.

If I try and link an external image, I get
Could not write avatar file to local storage. Please contact the board administrator with this message
