Batch Macro Execution?

Post by cperilli »

From what I can tell, TextPad does not have the ability to automatically run a selected macro at startup by way of a command line parameter (Is this a correct assumption?). I have some scheduled FTP jobs that run every night and the files downloaded need some reformatting. It would be nice if I could schedule TextPad to do this automatically after the FTP jobs complete.

You are correct Chuck. However, there are additional programs that you can use to accomplish what you are asking for. MacroScheduler is one that is often touted about. I can't recall what the other product is but a quick forum search should nab some results.

The other one is AutoIt (http://www.hiddensoft.com/).
