Nicer would be a more flexible way:
- Look in the directory where TextPad is installed for the settings (ini) file;
- if not exist, look in the "documents and setting/user" directory for the ini file;
- if not exist, look in the registry for the settings.

That way everybody should be happy.

I will personally use the ini in the TextPad directory and copy the TextPad directory in whole to my usb stick, thus keeping my business copy in sync with my personal copy.

At this moment it is a pain to export from the registry and them import again every time.

The sync script on my PC will handle directory syncing, an does so automatically on inserting my USB stick (thanks SyncBackSE...)
