File "Selector", Options (Sort, Select)... please!

Post by Bonzo »

Hello all,

I've found that there is a feature (likely quite easy to implement), that I would really appreciate.

ITEM 1:
In the File Selector (F11) (PS I always have mine attached under my clip lib)

I would **LOVE** to be able to Sort, by file TYPE... e.g.

a.css
b.css
c.css
a.html
b.html
c.html
a.java
b.java
c.java
a.js
b.js
c.js
a.xml
b.xml
c.xml
a.xsl
b.xsl
c.xsl

I tend to edit (as I pressume many do), multiple types of files at once.. and being able to sort them, would be very helpful in finding the desired file... ;-)

ITEM 2:

I would like to be able to select a file, by clicking anywhere, on the "line" for that file, in the selector.

E.g. If you click on the "whitespace" beyond the text label, for a clip, in the clip library, it will select the "item" on that line. I would like the same behaviour, in the file selector... as it is really anoying to have to try and select (for example, the x.js file);

js.syn
someReallyLongFileName.xml
x.js
zuluLongFileNameAgainEvenLongerThisTime.xsp

Cheers,
