I have a text file that is >5GB in size and I need to view a few records that are near the end of the file. My system only has enough virtual memory to view the first 1.5GB or so of the file.
Is there a command that will allow me to browse this file instead of trying to load the entire file into memory?
Cheers.

I would reccomend a tool like less, Google sent me here, since TP does not support browse mode. HTH
Then I open up and see
the person fumbling here is me
a different way to be

I would suggest "V" http://www.fileviewer.com. I use is for years now and it works great. It is shareware though.
(Thanks scrumbus for making me see the incorrect URL. Sorry...)
