Provide the capabily to copy selected file names from the Document Selector panel to the clipboard via a right mouse click.

You can copy the names of all open files withE dit | Copy Other | A ll File Names

When the 'Show full paths ' option is off in the Document selector, then the Edit | Copy Other | All File Names command should copy only the files' short names .
