When using workspaces if one has not previously saved all the files and if one does a search and replace that includes those files with an external tool such as WE, upon returning to the TextPad documents one is confronted with a dialog asking if the document should be reloaded.
So one has the choice of not getting the searched for changes or not getting the changes one had made previous to the search.
What would be helpful is if WE, at least when it is used as a tool from within TP were to ask if one wanted to 'save all' before doing a search.
This is an exotic request, but I have lost enough materials over time to want to see some kind of protection against my carelessness.
