Paste HTML head text

First, I feel obliged to start by saying I love TextPad! OK, now that I've got that out of the way...

I have an app that puts HTML on the clipboard, with important style information in a HEAD section. When I do a Paste HTML in TextPad, I get the BODY elements but not the HEAD.

I'd at least like the option to include the HEAD too, since I can't round-trip properly without the HEAD info.

(BTW, does anyone know of an app that allows me to do this, in case the good folks at Helios take a while to implement this?)

What happens if you do a normal "Paste" instead of the "Paste HTML"?
