OK - this is important enought I started a separate topic on this. Yesterday I tested TextPad using Code Weavers Crossover product that allows Windows apps to run under Linux. I'm running Redhat Fedora Core 2. And it worked - except it crashed when I tried to put in the license data.
I contacted Codeweavers about it and they fixed the problem. I am in the process of getting that fix but they seriously want TextPad to work.
Code Weavers Crossover is a $40 program and I bought it specifically to see if I can get TextPad to run under linux. I see that there is some discussion here about Linux so I'm not the only one who wants it.
The good news it - we don't have to wait for TextPad to get around to writing a linux version. Just wanted to let those who are interested that a solution appears to be working.
It would be nice though if the folks here at TextPad were to get a copy of Crossover and make sure everything works and optimize it a little.
