When will textpad be available natively on GNU Linux?

Post by asayogure »

I have heard from the developers that this is being considered for version 5.0. If that is so, then my next obvious question is, when will version 5.0 be coming out?

I *love* Textpad. It is what I use for *everything* involving text, most especially my programming projects. The only thing holding me back from moving all the way to using Linux as my primary OS, is that I cannot find an equal in Linux to what I have with textpad.

So, I am begging the developers, *PLEASE* release a native Linux version of this wonderful program! :D

Hi,

I've added a fix to Wine that allows TextPad to be registered in CrossOver. The fix is currently only available in the nightly builds of the developent tree. It will be in a production build when CrossOver 3.1 is released. Mail me for more details... mike at codeweavers dot com

thanks,

Mike
