pasting problem

I'm trying to insert, by pasting, double spaced text into some existing double spaced text.

I'm getting this:

pasted line 1

pasted line 2
existing text line 1
pasted line 3

pasted line 4

I was *not* expecting the pasted text to "flow around" the existing text.

This does not happen in notepad.

Windows 2000 sp4, Textpad 4.7.3

Looks like you've copied the text in block select mode: Configure | Block Select Mode. Make sure that option is not selected and try again.

Note: It's the mode you're in when you select the text that counts, not the mode when you paste it.
