i had to re-install an NT4 machine, and now cannot get textpad installed.

the 1st error is "An error occurred while downloading the file http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... stmsiw.exe"

(My work-PCs have _no_ internet connection!)

i downloaded the file and took a chance on executing it. this seemed to give no response.

the next try at installing textpad gave the error "Falsches BS oder BS-Version für Anwendung" which is German for "false BS or BS-version for application". (this assuming that "BS" was not an abreviation for something in German.)

the system has NT4 with SP4.

any tips?

The minimum requirement for installing TextPad is NT 4.0 (SP6a). If you still have a problem installing TextPad after upgrading to this, then please contact "support@textpad.com".
