Unicode support

I am a registered TextPad 4.4 user and have tried out 4.7.2.
I work with multilingual data. The Unicode support found in version 4.7.2 is totally inadequate. My data is not restricted to a single code page. TextPad's practice of converting Unicode data to an 8-bit encoding based on the installed code page is guaranteed to lose information. TextPad must allow for the editing of data as Unicode, or I will not continue using it.
