Question: 'do you want to reload ?' a million times

I have opened a file into Textpad 4.7.2, to which another program is continuously writing. Now I get the dialogbox: "An application has changed the file <filename>. Do you want to reload?"

It does not matter what I click. I get this dialog box always again. So I have to kill the textpad process with Windows2000.

You might want to consider this Configuration setting:

Configure, Preferences.
Click on File
Towards the lower right center of that window, change the radio button from "Prompt" to "Ignore".
Click on Apply and OK.

I generally make all configuration changes AFTER closing ALL documents in TextPad. After making the Configuration changes, I close and reopen TextPad.

Yes, this works.

I would need something like 'ask every ... minutes' or a button for the entry 'reload last version'. It is too much work to click into the File-Menu entry. However there is no symbol for this in the file symbol table.
