Tail -f - Fantastic tool found

Post by Vic »

Hi all, :D

I have found a fantastic tool that will Tail -f in Windows. So log files are now easy and it's freeware. http://www.baremetalsoft.com It's called Baretail, and it's just an executable.

I have had it tailing my Oracle log files and it works a treat.

I can attest to it's usefullness as well...we use it for tailing several logs in our telecom app.

Of the several Windows tail apps out there, this one seems to be the best suited to the task.

Vic, perhaps you can edit the first notice. The problem with that original URL is an extra period after .com
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,
Bob
