Alt+Tab problems
Hi Darren,
if you can use Alt+Tab to switch programs other than TextPad, I'd guess it's TextPad related one way ot other.
You might have changed the keyboard settings to let Alt+Tab do something other than switch to the next program window.
To check this do the following
If there is an entry which maps "Alt+Tab" to a key, you might try to remove that special key binding using the dialog mentioned above,
Hope that helps
Stephan

alt tab doesn't work (windows 98)
I had this problem, too. In fact, I used to have an older version of TextPad - maybe 4.3.1? - and I upgraded to 4.7.2 today because I didn't see this thread in the forums. After the upgrade, still had the same problem.
It fixed it to uncheck the "stay on top of other windows" (Thanks, MudGuard!).
But I have no idea how it got checked in the first place. Very mysterious.
