License Question

Post by rudy507 »

I have a question about licensing.

Does the single user license allow textpad to be used on more than one computer, or is this for a single computer?

Also, for a multiple user license, what is this for? Is it for some business (for example) to allow employees to use textpad, and then they just upload files to eachother over the net? I'm a bit confused about the "site" license.

If someone could explain this to me, I'd be grateful.

Thanks,

Textpad Licens

Hi David,

if you have TextPad already installed (and I assume you do since you seem to be interested in purchasing a license), read the part of the help which is titeld "Purchasing ans Licensing Agreement".
The text is pretty clear about it.

Hope that helps

I asked a similar question last year, but in my case the issue was having a copy of Textpad installed at home and on my PC at work.

The response I received from the Helios sales manager was:
You can install the license on both pcs as long as you are the only user.
