Hard Line-Breaks Not Working

When I insert text from Textpad into emails, many of the lines are not breaking at 60 characters per line as I set it up to do. How do I fix this?

The document must be saved before the hard breaks are inserted. Please see the following post in the "How To" section, which explains how this feature works.

Thanks, Steven! - That did it! Just one other question:

When eliminating text from a paragraph, is there any way to automatically reformat the paragraph so it again breaks at 60 c.p.l.?

Does Edit - Reformat not work?
