search open files and move cursor

Post by Flink »

I have some files open and want to search a word in all open files using "Search for" - "all open documents".
It finds the word 4 times.
I click the button: "mark all" and "find next"

However "find next" does not do anything. I have to go through all documents manually!

"Search for" - "all open documents
How are you doing that? I cannot find such a command.

If I use Search, Find, In all documents. it works OK for me.
I click on Mark All and each line is bookmarked.
I click on Find Next, and the focus moves to the next bookmarked line, at the instance of the word being looked for.

I have the German environment 4.7.2 under Windows 2000.
I use Search->Find ... (1st menu entry).

In all documents is selected.

It finds 2 entries however does not show me where automatically!
The button 'find next' does not have any effect
