Use "Find Next" while selecting text

I often have a need to select/delete all text between my current cursor position and the next occurrance of a string. Shift+Ctrl+F doesn't do it. Can this be changed, or is there a way I haven't found.

I've been a big fan of TextPad for at least 5 years - but I'm sure I haven't discovered every feature!

In the Find dialog, set the check next to "Extend Selection"
