Ok to create <file>

Post by chrisevans »

Hi,

I am using version 4.7.2.

When I doubleclick an associated file, E:\abc.sql, in Windows Explorer I get a dialog box with the text: "Ok to create 'E:\4\Textpad.exe'"

When I click "Ok" I get another box I get an error "E:\4\textpad.exe contains an invalid path".

I click "Ok" then I get another dialog box asking: "Ok to create "e:\abc.sql".

I click "Ok" then the file is open.

How do I get rid of these dialog boxes?

Thanks,

Chris

How did you create the association?

Have you tried to delete the association and create it from within Textpad?

I created the association using folder options in Windows Explorer.

I did as you suggested and that fixed the problem.

Thanks for your help.
