Document Specific help

I would like to submit an enhancement by which each document class could have a specific help file associated with it. This could take the form of .chm/.htm files, or possibly even man pages or javadocs.

Specifically, when I'm in a Javascript document, I'd like to hit F1 and have that help file come up. When I'm in Perl, I'd like F1 to bring up it's help. I certainly could write a script to detect the file extension of the current document, then display the appropriate help file, but that would be more burdonsome to support, and wouldn't flow as well.

There is a poll on the possibility of making the tools list class specific. If this were done then you could make <ctrl>-1 be the appropriate help for the class.
