How to change the shortcut bindindgs for tools menu

Post by DermicSavage »

i have been installing and updating compilers i use via textpad, and i want to rearrange the order the tools and the shortcut bindings(the ctrl+1,2,3 etc.) are placed in, yet i have had no luck in searchign textpad for a function, and i cannot find any registry values they may seem to control it...

if anyone can give any tips on how i could change these, it would be great, thx :)

Configure->Preferences->Keyboard->Catagories->Tools for Shortcut Keys.
Configure->Preferences->Tools to change order on menu. HTH

I believe Bob was referring to
http://www.textpad.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3827 which says search before asking questions.

A search for tools and order will pull back some information, at least one of which will give you what you're looking for.
A search for tools and shortcut will also yield positive results in fewer tries.

Bob was referring to the correct link in that earlier posting. That link said not to post questions in this forum.

But he must have been sleeping that day, because he thought he was in the How-To forum. :oops: ... :oops:

Bob apologizes, :cry: he is always willing to help in the right forums!
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,
Bob
