Multi-file seach & replace (w/poll)

Post by elric »

OK,
I am taking the initiative to create a poll for this thread.
the idea is simple:
search & replace an argument in ALL open files.
very useful for HTML and HDL editing...
This function is common in other editors and frankly, I do not
think one should use an external tool for it.
thoughts?
please vote!
thanks.

This is already in TP. It's called "All documents" in the Replace dialog.

Anyway's, I'm saving my vote for an external tool for files on disk ;)
Edit: Pls edit your original line "search & replace an argument in ALL open files." to something like "search & replace in files on disk" and you're in
business with the poll.
