I think it would be nice if you could search all currently open files for the ocurences of a particular string.

The people at TextPad thought it'd be neat too. 
On your search menu, there is a checkbox for a field labeled ``In all documents''. That will give you what you're looking for. It won't swap between files though so you need to select Mark All and then swap between files with ctrl-tab (or the document selector or click on your windows and then use f2 to jump to the next bookmark.
