I've found what looks like a bug with TextPad 4.7, but it seems too trivial. Below is a list of numbers that are more than a couple of screens long. When I'm viewing the top of the list and search for \n and replace all with "," (without the quotes) using regular expressions, everything works as you'd expect and all of the numbers are combined into one line.
However, if I scroll down past the first screen of numbers and do the same search and replace, all text is deleted. When I paste, the search-and-replaced text is tacked on to the end of what I'd previously copied to the clipboard. If I open or switch to another TextPad document, the text re-appears in the original window.
Can anyone reproduce this behavior? Is this a bug or just another quirk of Windows 2000? Thanks.

Is this a Search and Replace bug?

I just copied your list of numbers in an empty file and tried to reproduce your problem but couldn't get it.However, if I scroll down past the first screen of numbers and do the same search and replace, all text is deleted. When I paste, the search-and-replaced text is tacked on to the end of what I'd previously copied to the clipboard. If I open or switch to another TextPad document, the text re-appears in the original window.
