If there's one thing I wish TextPad would do properly, it would be for it to restore the text selection after an Undo. I find it disconcerting, and sometimes annoying, that after Undo'ing an operation, TextPad forgets to reselect the text that was in effect. It would make redoing the intended operation much more natural.
Automatically restoring the text selection after undo, is built-in to Windows: Word does it, WordPad does it, even NotePad does it. Internet Explorer does it in this web form I'm typing in. Heck, even Windows Explorer does it when you're editing a file name!
I suggest any good editor should do it also. Especially the best editor, that we all know and love...
