I don't seem to have this problem in any other apps. Just Textpad.

I have the same problem and it's really annoying. Please put it back.

I've had this problem since updating to version 5 and still happens on version 6. It's annoying. When it gets too confusing, I close the document selector and then reopen it and it is then sorted properly.

And this is on a W7 computer that I started out with Textpad 4 on.

I uninstalled both versions and then installed version 5 and still not working. When I install the dictionary files they show up in the spelling directory like they should.

Maybe I'll try a different language.

On my Windows 7 64 bit computer I upgraded from 4.7 to 5.4 textpad and now the spell checking doesn't work. I get the error message "Error opening a dictionary". I uninstalled the app and started over. Reinstalled the dictionary and still the error. I uninstalled version 5 and went back to 4 and ...
