My post before was not well explained. It's not just with double saving. It's whenever I try to save and the cursor is busy. It seems like it goes busy sometimes when I'm just doing simple actions like deleting a few lines or pasting some lines or other actions I'm sure.

I have experienced this problem multiple times with v5.4.2 and previous versions. I am on Vista 64-bit. If I press CTRL-S to save, sometimes it takes more than a few sec to finish, and if I press CTRL-S again, my whole computer appears to lock up on me. When it happens, no keypresses seem to work ...
