Hi,

Textpad (5.4.2) only fills about 2/3 of the available area when it opens.

My monitor is 1680x1050.

Is there a way to have it fill the whole area.

I drag the corners and it fills the available area but doesn't remember them.

I'm not talking full screen.

Thanks, but that's not a macro, it's a seach and replace.

I know how to start and to stop a macro, but how can I tell it to look for something specific in article and change it?

Change ," to ", for example.

Yes, you can:

1. Click Configure > Preferences .
2. Click the plus sign (+) next to Document Classes .
3. Click Default .
3. Select Word wrap long lines .

You can repeat this for other document classes as required.

?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but hopefully one of the following points will answer your question:

1. You can't make an arbitrary piece of text into a hypertext link ( like this ) in a plain text document.

2. If syntax highlighting is enabled, TextPad will highlight URLs in the document ...

I used metapad until now.

I wanted to add an HTML link to some text today but couldn't see how to do it.

So, how's it done?
