yes, that would be more then sufficiant By and large, software development is not done by license vote unless we're talking a really big amount of licenses. I also doubt your other 20 licensees are as keen on it as you are. I estimate the percentage of TextPad users who run multiple instances in the ...

actually, in older versions the need to "open in most recent instance" was so annoying that it would even load new workspaces in existing textpad instances... removing whatever workspace was loaded. I would personally be very unhappy to see this returned. I too use many instances (as can be seen by ...

"Add to Syntax Library"
Would be nice if we could right click on a word, and select "Add to Syntax Library -> [Keyword 1.. 2.. &tc;]" as of adding, it would automatically pick up the coloring for that keyword list without having to re-open the file. this would be a nice alternative to configure->preferances->file tyle ...

Not giving up on this one: I’ve been posting on this since 2002 and I am not stopping. If you don't use the minimize to trey then this isn't important to you. But since I commonly have 5+ instances with as many different workspaces open; this is a HUGE thing to me. TEXTPAD PEOPLE! Will you please a ...

search in many documents
Could an option/setting be added to search [find next/find previous](in multiple documents) where when you find the last/first instance of a searched result, it would automatically flip to the next found instance in the next open document. (or last in the previous, if you are searching backwards)

"Go To Definition"
It would be nice if there where a keystroke which would take you to the definition of a block of code if it is in an open document. example: in file a.js i have: function foo(){ ... } then in file aa.js i have: var g = foo() if i center on foo and hit the shortcut it would take me to a.js->foo()[/i]

Textpad - SDK?
Hows about making an Plug-in SDK so that people with the needed skills can create full scale plugins which can then be distrobuted through the addon section of textpad. textpads only real failing is the slowness of updates - but with the power of all of the steller programmers who use it, perhaps ...

Re: I want to Close Textpad to Systray
1) you can minimize to system tray 2) make workspaces and save those to a place which is easy to get to., when you click on them, they will open the requested documents. personally, i have a folder with all of my workspaces, and this is set as a toolbar in my taskbar so i can get to them without ...

Bug: with curser when jumping lines
In TPB [before 5.x] when i am scrolling from line to line using my arrow buttons, the curser moved logically from line to line going to the same "spot" (not column, but a relitive spot in the next line) i am sure that anyone who uses TP for long knows what i am talking about only now, sometimes when ...

the syntax file has different keyword blocks each will have their own color. when i "upgraded" i lost my syntax files (even though they are nowhere near the textpad install folder... odd that) so you may have to find your old syntax files and put them back into your samples folder (or wherever you ...
