I'm having the same problem, despite switching on all the UTF-8 and Unicode options I can find in Preferences and in the "Save As" file dialog. This is very frustrating as I'm trying to develop multilingual PHP files that support Russian and Chinese (and also Western languages). Please help.

The syntax definition files listed in the option drop-down include 32 entries. Despite copying more .syn files into the "System" and "Samples" folders, I cannot get more options to show in the list!

The toolbar icons in TextPad are either too big or too small. They look very old-fashioned and not particularly ergonomic. With the right-click/ customize option, on the third tab of the dialog box that pops up, I have an option to view large icons; but the choice is between having them tiny and ...
