TP.

Trying to get something done around here is Like giving CPR to a Manikin

I remove any efforts I contribute (or tried to).

TextPad..... No wonder...

I be better off teaching a manikin to walk then expecting any help or other in this forum....

TP Only DOES this sometimes.....

Let me put some more info out here.
Only after I encountered the problem in Ver 6 where
"Find in files" would not show up at all.
I changed to ver 7.
I had to a Manual transfer of my saved macros and ...

TextPad context menu opens TextPad, but doesn't open the file I selected.
TextPad now Displays "Find in Files" Results on 1 line....

Since I updated to Ver.7 These to problems have become.

Image "Find in Files" results on 1 line.
They are pretty much worthless at that point.

I decided to give ultra edit a go......

I uninstalled it 12 hours later.

It took an additional week to get all my file extensions to open once again
with TP.

Yes even after I checked the Box setting TP as the default exe.
No matter what I did it Seemed Ultra Edit did something to make sure it ...

Yes, Minimizing text pad while it runs a macro or search and replace speeds it up 10x.


I was going to suggest this be added into the program. Where it minimized it self until done.

Be allot nicer to see the then TP frozen

The browse folders only gets 1 line high.
This was thru Remote Desktop Connection.
ANd is really a problem.....

I am attempting to capitalize all the words in an html page.

I Ctrl+a The goto Captialize.
But Textpad capitalizes everything including the URLS in <a href=**

So
<a href="http://cat.com">
becomes
<A Href="Http://Cat.Com">

Which is no good.

Any help is apprecited
