Yes, Minimizing text pad while it runs a macro or search and replace speeds it up 10x.


I was going to suggest this be added into the program. Where it minimized it self until done.

Be allot nicer to see the then TP frozen

I was able to do sort of the same thing by adding he search to the tools menu.

I am slowly realizing the power of TP.
I do think around 9 years could be considered slow.
I just never gave TP the chance it deserved until now.

Forgive me if this has been already said. I just thought the ability to search words/terms/foo directly from Textpad might not only make looking up text take a few less steps. I think google has some sort of api that allows Textpad to get paid from the searches seant from TP. And from what I have ...

I am attempting to capitalize all the words in an html page. I Ctrl+a The goto Captialize. But Textpad capitalizes everything including the URLS in <a href=** So <a href="http://cat.com"> becomes <A Href="Http://Cat.Com"> Which is no good. Any help is apprecited Selvol
