Thanks for the answers. woho: UltraEdit has that feature. Actually I was wrong, it doesn't need to ask to reload the file or anything, the two windows are just different editing positions into the same portion of memory, so when you modify one window and switch to the other you instantly see the ...

Duplicate Window
In the Window menu, a New Window or Duplicate Window function, so that the user could edit the same file at different spots in different windows.
And it would be great if these duplicate windows were saved in the workspace just as regular file windows are.

Thanks, but if possible I would like to have several tabs of the same file, just like you can open the same file several times on different instances of Textpad. When you modify the file and switch to another tab of the same file, it would say that the file has been modified and ask to reload it ...
