I would like to have an option to have the cursor start in the incremental find box when that menu is open.

I see the same thing. When multiple files are selected in the WIN11 Explorer, double clicking, or 'Open with', opens all but one. (If I choose 6, only 5 are opened.) Also surprised that installing v9 removed v8 without warning... note that Textpad 8 is not removed from the Windows 'Send to ...

For binary files:

1) Would like to have color options so the hex side of the display is one color, and theASCII side is another. Not real important, but would be easier on the eyes.

2) Incremental search to locate text strings on the ASCII side!
