When I try those options a small, square dialog box pops up on the screen. Am I able to accomplish what I want to from one of these dialog boxes? If so, can you tell me how?

Hi: I'm using Textpad version 5.3.1. I somehow did something that got rid of the separate area on the left side of my screen that shows which files I currently have open, and all I have now on my screen is a big white area to type into. Thank you for your assistance. I now realize that the problem was that I was waiting for my changes to take effect in the current document that I had open, but I needed to close the document and reopen it in order for the changes I made to take effect.

How Can I Set The Number of Characters for Line Breaks?

Hi:

I'm using Textpad version 4.7.3.

I can't seem to locate the place where I can change the number of characters per line to create the line breaks. Can someone help me out with this?
