You won't see it on the menu unless you add it, follow these steps:

Configure-->Preferences

Select Macros

List on the left is Macros available, select your copied macro and add to list on the right, then it appears on the menu pulldown.

I'm creating a custom syntax for files which contain codes I'd like to highlight in color. The codes vary from 2-4 characters.
