cmd.exe replacement for DOS command tool

I'd like to define a replacement for cmd.exe, when creating a "DOS Command..." tool.

4NT, by JP Software (jpsoft.com) is a great replacement I've been using for a while.

Copy of Cmd Rslts to true, clickable Cmd Rslts?

I run this tool, and it takes about a minute. Tons of output. I need to save this output, and come back to it repeatedly. It takes a loooooong time to go through, and I also need to run other tools between now and then. So I copy the output, but I don't know how to make it clickable again later. I ...

I think the Search menu-->Jump previous/next is exactly what you're looking for. Assign a key command to it, if you like.

I personally compile my java code in TextPad, but never run it there. I only run Java (command line) applications in CMD.exe (or JPSoft's 4nt.exe which is a great replacement). Try that. Does this address your problem? (As I see it, TextPad is not a Java IDE, it's just a text editor that makes ...

I missed the word "recently". I thought this person passed a while ago.

Either way, it was callous and I apologize.

This is a neat idea. When macros are revamped in the next major release--we assume--implementing this idea with a macro should be a rather trivial thing, I think.

I don't think it is necessary to suppress the title bar. Nor do I think it's necessary to surprise it :' ). Rather, just *always* show the full file name (and perhaps X directories, based upon a preference) regardless the length of the path. For example: C:/tehu/aste/taheus/tahoeusth/aoteu/taheus ...

"Pinning" ay? This actually gives me an idea... Anyone know Visio (I have XP, not sure what previous versions this is in)? You can "pin" a toolbar to a side/top/bottom of the screen. When you move your mouse away from it, it disappears (except for a title bar). When you move over the title bar it ...

Thanks, MudGuard, for this reference. It seems like a neat tool, though it's not 100% clear how to use it.

Strange how you have to download all the insntallation files individually (exe, ini, readme).
