I'm 64bit Win7 Pro, and would love to fix this. For me it seems to only happen the first time launching TextPad after a boot.

Thanks -- though the problem may be Vista OR Texpad 5.1 (or a combination of the two). I know that when I was using 4.something on Win2k, this didn't happen -- but I switched to Vista and TextPad 5.1 at the same time, so I don't yet know who the troublemaker is. For anybody running 5.1 -- (XP or Vis...

No offense, but I'm not terribly interested in veering off onto the anti-Microsoft thing -- I'm just hoping to get TextPad to select as expected. Are others here using Textpad 5.1 on Vista? If so, have you also noticed that text selection is sometimes weird? Is this a Vista-only thing, or 5.1 in gen...

Text selection displays wrong?
I recently started using Vista, and switched to TextPad 5.1 (from 4.something). I've noticed that the text selection (ie, highlighted blue) often displays wrong. For example, I'll grab word and drag to the left, but part of the line to the right highlights. If I copy or cut, the correct text is affe...

Per my previous post, this isn't about re-opening the same set of documents -- it's about losing all the undo/redo states for each of those documnets. I sometimes close TextPad when I only meant to close a single document, and I gather I'm at least not the only one. If you're working on a bunch of f...

Right -- do others here not do the same thing? ie, space out and think that you're closing just one document when you close a whole bunch -- and potentially lose all the undo states? (perhaps I'm the only goof who does it -- but it's like how tabbed browsers warn you if you're about to close a windo...

Optional alert when you quit with multiple documents open...
Hi all, With some regularity I accidentally close TextPad when I have a bunch of documents open (it's usually because I space out, and think I'm just closing the active document). I think it could be helpful if you added a "confirm quit when multiple documents open" option -- perhaps other...
