This appears to be confined to v7.1 64bit, having just instlled 7.1 32bit where the context menu option does work as expected.

I can confirm this happens. Still occurs if TextPad x64 is run as Administrator and Windows UAC is disabled.

Textpad corrupting files saved in VirtualBox

I use Oracle Virtualbox v4.0.12 (free desktop virtualisation). I have a Virtual Machine running XP, using a shared folder on the host machine. Quite often, when saving files edited by TextPad (v5.4.2) the files become corrupt. If opened in Notepad for example, you can see Texpad had duplicated lines...

Bizarrely, on my Vista Business laptop and Textpad 5.10, the Textpad context menu only appears if UAC is enabled. Disabling UAC causes it to disappear.
