That is what I am doing at the moment but not what I want.

See I do not want the file name/path prefixed to each returned line in the results. I just want the line number and actual data.

Is there a way to capture the results of a search in a single file to the search results window? I search large files for certain strings and would like the line(s) where the string was found to be stored/copied to the search results window like when you do a search in multiple files.

No that is not what I am saying. I am requesting that the Tools screen have a similar setting where in the event that you call TextPad self as a TOOL that you will be able to launch TextPad either within the current TextPad instance or create a new instance of TextPad.

I have found that if I open a workspace with files pointing to a network drive and the drive is diconnected for some reason the workspace is also corrupted. Sometimes the filesize is 0kb, sometimes just 1kb but I am never able to use that workspace again.
