Yes, I agree. I searched the Textpad help to no avail. So it is installed and works perfect.

Where is the Portable Wizard
I seem like I am missing something, I cannot figure out "New Wizard to copy the TextPad installation and configuration files to portable media." Please point me to the this wizard. Please note I have posted this in the forums and no luck.
Thank you,
Derrick

Dot Removed = No Difference (Not Working)
Sorry I should have explained that I added the dot after the suggestion above. It was not working before, and it is still not working.

As soon as I type any alpha char after the dot, the syntax is no longer recognized and this goes from orange back to white.

The dot
Class was cancelled, along with the test...darn.
I tried to add the . but it generated an error, "Character Number 2 is invalid". But that was my dumb mistake, I added a space.
I tried the . and nope, next character reverts it.

I think I misunderstood. I will check what you said. I have a hardware test in a few hours so I have to keep prepping. I will be back.

I have tried both this and this. In the case of this, it will add the color but as soon as I add the character ., it reverts. When I add this., again when I type the next character this.l, it reverts.

Java Syntax File Cannot Identify this.
I have searched the help file and the forum. I cannot figure out why my modified java.syn file is not picking up the word this, e.g. this.lobstertail. It will identify this, but as soon as I add the period game over.
Any guidance or help would be appreciated.

Close (X) button on File tab
I concur, the x button should be adjacent to the filename. Its current position, on the bottom right, is cumbersome. It is not intuitive. I seem to recall on the last version the x was located top right.

Syntax Highlighting HTM - View Source
Hi,
I have set up TextPad as one of the options to "Edit with..." within Internet Explorer. Is it possible to have the temp doc that results from Edit with Textpad or View Source open with htm syntax highlighted, if so how would I accomplish this act? Thank you,

I have to say I truly appreciate everyone's help. I am going to go test. I love Textpad, it saves me so much time that I wouldn't be able to begin to count all the hours!
