I agree, this would be a really nice feature.

Another thing that might be nice along the same lines is if the testpad explorer would start from the workspace directory (when using .tws workspace files) instead of with a closed tree.

I actually like the new version of this, since I find it useful to have files maximized in textpad but still be able to see search/tools results at all times. An option though would be nice to choose between the two setups. Any way another option could be created to not erase previous tool output? :)

Currently, if I create 5 tools, it assigned Ctrl-1 through Ctrl-5, which I can reorder. Even when I reorder them, they maintain the same hotkeys. When I delete the Tools assigned to Ctrl-1 and Ctrl-2, the other three maintain their hotkeys as Ctrl-3 through Ctrl-5, and it will re-assign Ctrl-1 and ...

I think being able to have backups save with date/time naming is a great idea. Without this, the auto-save can be a little funny. For instance, say you have the file auto-save every 10 minutes. This is good for the purpose of making sure you don't lose too much work, but for the sake of keeping ...
