Isn't that the same as uninstalling from Add/Remove (which is what the error message instructs you to do anyway)?

It's not "free". If you mean the upgrade is free to registered users who already paid, that's always been the case. And I agree; this is version 5.5.

Did you ever find a way to get classic menus and toolbars? The new, custom ones seem clumsy and slow, and the submenus ignore the Windows MenuShowDelay setting and instead use a hard-coded delay. I want submenus to pop up instantly.

I want just the opposite -- always open a new instance since tabs aren't much use to me (that's what the Windows taskbar is for). This is also a major annoyance for me. The first window I open is coming up maximized, but subsequent windows aren't.
