Using a document class
It's a very rare task but this morning I wanted to print some labels with a font other than my default. I'd forgotten the simple way I'd done this last, a couple of years ago: Right click > Properties > Font dialog . Instead I did: Configure > Preferences > Document Classes > Thin Labels > Font ...

USA dates to UK?
I'm struggling to convert USA dates like these:
9/26/20
10/9/21
12/21/22
to these UK equivalents:
26/9/20
9/10/21
21/12/22
Even better would be padded results like this:
26/09/20
09/10/21
21/12/22
Is it possible in a single run please?

Re: How to clear the Recent Files list?
Great, thanks, duly cleared.
Is it stiil as complex as that in the latest version?
IMO it needs a one-click button to clear all, and a Right-click > Remove for individual entries.

How to clear the Recent Files list?
Could someone please remind me how to empty the list of 'recent' files listed when using the File menu? Couldn't find it in the Help menu. BTW, how are the entries determined anyway? I don't recognise the correlation of my 16 with the most recent files I've worked with. In fact some are very old ...

Delete lines that end with a specific string?
Can I use Regex to delete all lines in a text file that end with a specific string, in this case -a---(plus the EOL character)?
That's 'minus,a,minus,minus,minus,EOL'
That's 'minus,a,minus,minus,minus,EOL'

Cannot minimise child windows
Maybe I'm mistaken, but shouldn't I be able to do so? I have multiple text files open and each of them displays the Minimise icon, but it has no effect.

Obscure change when using Alt+F3
Up until recently, when I used the hotkey <Alt + F3> it opened the current text file's container folder in File Explorer. But that has recently started including the Navigation pane, which takes a few clicks to remove. There's a similar unexpected change in behavior in Excel 365. When I open a ...

You can change the font for the current document in the View > Document Properties dialog on the Font tab. Thanks, that works fine for Printer, e.g, changing from size 10 to size 36, which solves my immediate task. And I see it doesn't affect the Default setting as I'd feared. But if I apply that ...

How to tell what document class is in use?
This question arises out of my attempt to change printing fonts (my post a few minutes ago) but thought I'd better make it a separate post. I'm getting in something of a mess because I've never really understood how document classes work. For example although my Default class is apparently ...

Changing font for a single print out
I want to print something in a different font to my normal Courier Regular 10 ? Do I need to configure Document Classes in order to achieve that?

Thanks both. This is TextPad 7.6.4 (64-bit Edition), running in Win 10 Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1706) It not only becomes unresponsive here but also prevents access to any other apps. Task Mgr does eventually open but that too is unresponsive, forcing a Restart. Essentially my definition of a ...
