file just too big for Textpad
I am having the same problem. I could have sworn the old versions of Textpad opened my large files just fine, but I am trying for the first time since upgrading to version 5, and at first I received your error message, and now Textpad just grinds and grinds trying to open the file. One minor glitch...
The last page of my install, where the text says, "The InstallShield Wizard has successfully installed... <blah blah blah>" has a textbox on the screen with no text. It probably says something like, "Click here to open the readme.txt", but I can't see it so I don't know for sure.

Line Highlighting -- PERFECT!
This is perfect for me. What am I missing that people are unhappy about? You can turn it off, you can have it all one color (like mine), or you can have the dashes. It's completely selectable, from what I can tell.

Dashed Lines = BAD IDEA
I was one of the guys that requested the current line be highlighted. I did this probably about 3 years ago. Who in the world came up with the dashed effect? That hideous--it creates an optical illusion that the line is small and squished between the two dashed lines.
