OK. Uninstall, delete the data directory, reinstall and it's back.

I installed 7.0.9. Now, the close button for individual files (on the same row as the menu items) is now missing. Any ideas?

Many of the requests I've read seem to be from the developer community.

Textpad is a text editor, not a programmer's editor. Too bad but that seems to be the way it's going to stay.
