I too, can reproduce this, but with a slightly different set of steps (version=5.0.3).

1) Start with a new instance of TP.
2) Perform any "Find in Files" search.
3) Double Click on a result line to open the document.
4) Click into the Document window to change focus.
5) Right-click in the Search ...

This appears to be fixed in 5.0.2, and I cannot seem to get it to GPF in the Preference dialog. THANKS!

I can confirm this and add a little more detail:

You cannot drag and drop items from the "Commands" tab to the toolbars. You can drag and drop items from the "Commands" tab to the Menu bar ("File, Edit, Search," etc.)

I too, had an issue with associations, but I simply deleted and recreated them. (Well, all but this one.) I also had an issue with syntax files, but simply re-selected them for my different document types.

I have tried to enter a new file association for ".inc" and each time TP5.0 GPF's.

Please try this and reply post back to confirm.

1 -- Open/Start TextPad 5.0 (If you are working on any documents, save and close them.)
2 -- Close any open documents.
3 -- Navigate to Configure->Preference ...
