macro language reference

Is there a list I can download for reference?

I write and edit TP macos generated by the recorder which are saved, edited. This post is about a reference list which would help me to compose a macro and then copy, and paste into the TP macro library.

Sorry for not following this up. Switching languages is the only option for now.

Re: bilingual spell check questions

Thanks for the reply. I asked because the Firefox browser added a bilingual spell checking feature (currently per session), which for me, living in Québec Canada is a much sought and welcome addition. I just asked.

bilingual spell check questions

Is it possible to combine TP spellcheck on documents that contain French words? I searched the posts, most likely incorrectly, but after Brexit, who knows? :D

Apologies for the typos and omissions. It was a terrible first post. It was the end of the day for me, and I was in a rush to post questions of concern on various forums. So, please accept this rewrite. The search and replace function fails when the fields are filled up with about 20 entries. Then ...

Nothing is lost, I was wondering if the ConfigState.xml should be touched at all and if there is a recommended way to reset the fields other than what I am doing. I consider understanding it important in the context of time saving.

Ways to clean the "Find" "Replace"

It took me ~15 years of using TP to ask the community on what is the recommended way to clean the Find and Replace list in ConfigState.xml when these functions fail because the limit was reached.

It looks like your dates are in crazy US format. Try: S earch | R eplace... ( <F8> ): F i nd what: \b(\d)?(\d)/(\d)?(\d)/(\d{4})\b Re p lace with: $5-(?1$1:0)$2-(?3$3:0)$4 [ X ] Regular e xpression You can put this in a macro: Replace = "\\b(\\d)?(\\d)/(\\d)?(\\d)/(\\d{4})\\b", "$5-(?1$1:0)$2-(?3$3 ...

Formatting the system date in a macro

I use a date, time and filename macro which generates the following: 12/3/2022 - 2:57 AM - P:\doc2.txt

Is it possible to convert the date display to 2022-12-03 format?

I dealt with such issues by creating a different document class with its own extension. But then, I don't share files just store them in the cloud.

This is impossible, because as of 2021-09-25 you still stated to use 8.8.0 , which is not one year ago and not 8.9.0. The version 8.9.0 is available since 2021-10-07 - the "News" page will also tell you all other versions with dates, so you can check yourself there has never been a "90". @AmigoJack ...

Apologies. I assumed seeing periods where they were none. Inattention does have its drawbacks.

Confused about version numbers

I am happy with any version number because they all work well, and meet my needs.

But, I wonder that I downloaded version 8.90 a year ago and now, the download list is 8.12.

I am just curious, like the proverbial cat.
