Textpad 5.x does not save the windows postion or its size like 4.x does. Will you be adding this feature back to 5.x?

The 470b patch resolved the issue for me also.

I tried your unoptimized patch and it did not make any difference.
A couple of things I only have this issue when I'm trying to read from a CD.
Any other removable media Like memory stick , Zip disk does not have the problem. Wether the the file is read only or the media is locked.
